For many summer means road trips and vacations, but I feel like summer also means quiet time reading. I love nothing more than walking around the corner to find one of my kids with their face shoved in a book. As they read, you can see their wheels turning and their imagination running wild. To help jumpstart, your kids summer reading, we have compiled a list for each grade level.
These books are suggestions based on Accelerated Reading levels. Some kids might read up or down a level, but we wanted to have a good starting place. Also, we wanted to suggest books that might be of more interest to a girl or boy because quite frankly sometimes can be difficult to find books that boys like to read. Again these are just suggestions.
